Different types of control valves

Control valves are used in various industries. They are used to regulate pressure, temperature, flow and liquid level by fully or partially opening or closing in response to signals received from controllers .The Opening or closing of control valves is usually done automatically by electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic actuators.
Few types of control valves and their uses are given below
Ball Valve - Ball valves are used in situations where tight shut-off is required. They are wide duty valves, able to transfer gases, liquids and liquids with suspended solids
PFA/FEP Lined Ball Valve - These are highly used in various industries such as oil, chemical, textile, petrochemical and pharmaceutical. They have chemical resistance strength and can also bear extreme pressure and temperature due to use of finest quality plastic and steel in their production
Flush Bottom Valve - Flush bottom valves are used to discharge Liquids &Slurry from the bottom of Reactors, Receivers & huge Tanks.
3-way ball valves-3 way ball valves are used in different fields like construction machinery, agricultural machinery
Butterfly valve - A Butterfly Valve is used to control the flow of material through a circular pipe or tube. Typically the material is air, gas, steam, or liquid. Certain dry materials may also be handled through a butterfly valve
Y Type Angle Valve- These valves are used for on-off application to control steam, water
2-way ball valves - Manual Ball valves are used in situations where tight shut-off is required
